Helping our veterans develop life skills & provide educational programs
We have aligned ourselves with some educational institutions to provide training for skilled jobs. Through our experience, we have learned that one of the keys to successful transitioning is for the men to learn how to manage their money. One of our programs is to a teach financial management and budgeting.
Veteran Timmy
When we met Tim, he was homeless and could only afford a storage unit that cost $35 a month. He would change his clothes in the unit and then walk five miles to work. He was struggling to get his license. OTOW provided a home and a bike to help him get to and from work. He was given an attorney to help him get his license. Tim has now obtained a driver’s license, secured a job, has a home and a car.
